BMC SRL has taken a significant step forward in its digital transformation journey with the completion of the “Digital Traceability 4.0” project, carried out with co-funding from the Emilia-Romagna Region and the European Union.
Digitalisation is not merely a technological choice, but a fundamental strategic lever for enhancing the competitiveness, efficiency and safety of our production facilities. Through the “Digital Traceability 4.0” project, we have developed and implemented an advanced, integrated technological ecosystem that spans the entire value chain, from the factory to the end customer:
Next-generation CRM: for centralised data governance and increasingly seamless, accurate and timely customer relationship management.Advanced cybersecurity infrastructure: for the continuous and proactive monitoring of internal IT vulnerabilities, ensuring the protection of company data and business continuity.
- MES System and IoT Laser Marking: an integration designed to digitise and streamline the traceability of every single component in real time along the production lines.
These investments have enabled us to optimise process integration, improve the management of corporate information and raise cyber security standards.
Research and innovation are two fundamental values underpinning BMC’s future planning; a daily challenge that motivates us to look ahead with ambition to guarantee ever-higher quality standards for our customers.
This initiative was carried out as part of the Emilia-Romagna Region’s 2021–2027 ERDF Operational Programme, co-financed by the European Union.
